Conceptually driven, and intellectually challenging, the paintings of Diti Almog have intrigued and challenged critics and audiences for over two decades. Known for the variety of her palette, and a restrained, geometrical technique, her works — always in dialogue with the exhibition space and one another — are remarkable for their spatial complexity. Walls figure heavily in Almog’s work, challenging the viewers to explore how limits of space are defined, and how physical environments and Cartesian perspective serves to inform and organize our thoughts.
